Grain Markets Higher to Begin the Week on Planting Delays, Excessive
Moisture in SRW Areas
May corn is up 3 1/4 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 3 3/4 cents, July
KC wheat is up 1 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 3/4 cent and July
Minneapolis wheat is up 1 cent.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is up 3 1/4 cents per bushel, May
soybeans are up 3 3/4 cents, July KC wheat is up 1 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat
is up 3/4 cent and July Minneapolis wheat is up 1 cent.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mostly lower Monday morning as
traders remain bearish on U.S. trade policy and the impact on U.S. corporate
earnings. Major indices have closed lower for three of the past four weeks, due
primarily to uncertainty around tariffs and where the rates ultimately land.
New economic data releases this week include U.S. leading indicators on
Monday, S&P flash PMI's, new home sales, and the Fed beige book on Wednesday,
jobless claims and durable goods on Thursday, and consumer sentiment on Friday.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 527.16 at 39,142.23 and the S&P 500 up 7.00 at 5,282.70. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.333%. Early Monday, the June Dow Jones
Futures are down 378 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures
of London's FTSE 100 is steady, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down
0.54% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.64%. Asian markets
are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 1.3% and China's Shanghai
Composite Index up 0.45%.
